Teenie had always been an inquisitive mouse and was often distracted by the bees flying from flower to flower. When given the daily task of collecting grains for the mornings baking, she often brought back more pebbles than seeds, pointing out that these pebbles were ( unbeknownst to all of the other mice) particularly unique.
All of the others seemed far more interested in little bits of twig with which they would build their nests but Teenie always took the time to gaze at the enormity of the trees which
All of the others seemed far more preoccupied gathering pieces of twig and straw for their nests. No one seemed to take a break from scurrying around to look at their surroundings. Teenie always took the time to gaze at the trees which towered high above her quivering nose and instead of collecting twigs, she brought back all the coloured leaves the seasons would offer her.

Although Teenie was incessantly curious, she did not wish to stray too far from the burrow. This may have been down to her mousing instincts or her love of the field, but she never felt the need to explore beyond its boundary.
Instead Teenie appreciated the little things around her, finding joy in the smallest of natures gifts and changing patterns. She beamed as the flowers blossomed, each bud a small of explosion of unknown colour and pattern. Instead of running from the fruit which fell heavily to to the Earth, she would scoop tiny pawfulls of the sweet flesh, squeaking at the stains left on her fingertips. Her ears constantly twitched in the breeze, picking up birdsong and the mutterings of the bumble bees as they went about their daily chores and her tail often became a skipping rope.
of all the things that fascinated her, it was the dandelions that Teenie was captivated by. She watched as the delicate seeds would fan open and fly up into the air, spreading across the field and into the clouds. Teenie would take a record of each dandelion on the back of a pumpkin seed and knew exactly when the seeds would be ready to fly, and was always there when they did. Whether the floating seeds were caught morning rays of the sun or glittered in the moonlight, Teenie was always there nestled in the long grass, her large eyes twinkling with joy.

Afterwards she would gather some twigs, seeds and a few pebbles for good measure, ready to tell the other mice why the patterns on these pebbles were so beautiful.
